Longing for Union: Destiny and Fate’s Unseen Path

Silhouette of a person on a mountain peak illuminated by a celestial beam of light.
A man reaching toward a glowing spiral galaxy and a translucent alien in the night sky.
Fate

Tell me-when will our hearts finally meet?

It is clear that Fate once meticulously anointed our union

yet Destiny, in its quiet cruelty, chose another path

Fueled by the immaturity of my youth and the selfish desires that once ruled me,

I accept every foolish action, every blind mistake that has delayed our pre‑ordained crossing

For each day without you is suffering beyond measure

-a sentence served without joy, without love, sustained only by heartache, pain, and the dull crutch of mediocrity

Without you, existence thins—depthless, diminished— leaving me half a man, never whole

I sense your presence in the whisper of dawn and in the hush of twilight’s descent

In the architecture of the cosmos, you are the light and I am the hollow it leaves behind

Pardon the poverty of my prose as I am no poet

Words are but shallow vessels, unfit to chart the vastness of my desire for you

There among the stars, you illuminate the cosmos with a brilliance I can only admire from afar,

while I, bound to the loam, darken the very earth beneath my feet

I am a fragment, a shadow in search of its sun

forever reaching for the light of your love to finally make me whole

I am but a humble traveler, one who has lost his way

longing for your grace to finally anchor my soul, my wandering

and allowing my journey to begin anew

Adiuva me vertrem figuram mundi
